VGP – Under the theme "Vietnamese young talents – Global connection, national construction," the 1st National Congress of Vietnamese Young Talents will last on September 11-13 in Hà Nội.

September 09, 2009 3:31 PM GMT+7

The 1st National Congress of Vietnamese Young Talents will discuss solutions to foster young talents

The Congress is the forum of 450 delegates representing eight groups - students; workers; farmers; artists and athletes; public servants; young intellectuals; soldiers; and businessmen – who are studying and working at home and abroad.

At a press briefing this afternoon, the representative of the Organizing Board said that all participants are exemplary individuals whose achievements are recognized and praised by the community.

The Congress will establish the Global Sponsor Council for Vietnamese Young Talents and build up a national database of young talents, laying the foundation for activities to foster and use the contingent of young talents.

As scheduled, a plenary session will be convened on Sunday to assess the actual training and use of Vietnamese young talents as well as map out orientations for the development of the force.
