9-month GDP grows 6.5%
VGP - Việt Nam posted a GDP growth rate of 6.52% in the first 9 months of this year, according to the Ministry of Planning and Investment.
In
the reviewed period, agriculture grew 2.89%, industry 7.29%, and service 7.24%,
all higher than the figures in the same period last year.

Meanwhile,
the export turnovers rose 20.5% and the excess of imports over export accounted
for 16.7% of the export turnover.
Goods
and service sales stood at VND 1,146 trillion, up 25.4%. State budget
collection reached 78.2% of the annualized plan.
However,
the Ministry said prices of many goods and services tend to increase, lending
interests rates and trade deficit rates are still high.
