APEC International Media Center launched

VGP — Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh on Saturday cut ribbon to launch the International Media Center for the 2017 APEC Economic Leaders’ Week in Da Nang city.

Addressing the inaugural ceremony, Deputy PM, FM Minh, Chairman of the National Committee for APEC 2017, spoke highly of the joint efforts made by Da Nang and relevant ministries and agencies in completing the project as planned.

Deputy PM, Minh said this is an important facility for more than 3,000 reporters who have registered to cover events within the APEC Economic Leaders’ Week.

The 1.3 ha Media Center, located at No. 9, August Revolution Street, Khue Trung Ward, Cam Le District, Da Nang City, operates from 7:00 to 22:00 every day, and runs to 24:00 on the two summit days.

It will offer free lunch and dinner for registered reporters and shuttle buses will take designated reporters from the Media Center to meeting venues./.
