Agricultural-forestry-aquatic export surges nearly 40%
VGP – Export value of agricultural, forestry, aquatic products was estimated to reach US $2.4 billion in September, sending the first nine months’ figure to US $18.9 billion, or an increase of 38.1 % against the same period last year.

Data showed that the surge in export value was mainly attributed to global price hike.
Of the figure, farm produce export was estimated at US $10.7 billion or up 49.3%, aquaculture at US $4.4 billion or up 26.7%, and forestry at over US $3 billion or up 17% against the same period last year.
September’s agriculture production was valued at VND 162,418 billion or 4.1% higher than the same period last year.
