Argentina Cultural Week to open in VN

VGP - An Argentina Cultural Week will be held in both Ha Noi and Ho Chi Minh City from December 14-18 to mark 40 years of diplomatic ties between the two nations.

December 10, 2013 4:01 PM GMT+7

Tango Argentina

Co-organised by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Argentine Ministry of Culture, the event will encompass a photo exhibition, a book launch and a seminar depicting the life and career of Eva Peron, the late Argentine president’s wife (1919-1952), and an Argentine Film week.

Over the past 40 years, relations between Viet Nam and Argentina have achieved applausible successes in various fields such as economics, politics, investment, trade, culture, society. In particular, culture plays a significant role in contributing to tightening solidarity between the two governments and the people.

In 2012, President Ho Chi Minh’s Statue and Viet Nam Park were present in Buenos Aires capital, showing the Argentine government’s respect for Viet Nam's  great leader and its desire to promote bilateral relations./
