The association aims to boost the capacity and role of businesswomen, offer a venue for them to share experience and improve professional knowledge. It will also further protect the legitimate interests of female entrepreneurs and workers.

It also acts as a bridge between the community of businesswomen and the Government and relevant agencies.

Addressing the congress, Deputy PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hailed contribution of Vietnamese women in general and businesswomen in particular to the national development and defense.

He highlighted that the rising number of businesswomen reflects their great efforts.

The Party and State always attach importance to and uphold the role of female entrepreneurs especially managers of small and medium-sized enterprises, he said./.
