Binh Phuoc’s development master plan for 2021-2030 period ratified

VGP – The Prime Minister has recently signed Decision No. 518/QĐ-TTg approving the task of making the Binh Phuoc province development master plan for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050.

By 2030, Binh Phuoc Province becomes an industrial locality with the GRDP ranking among the nation’s top 15 provinces and cities. 

Accordingly, by 2030, Binh Phuoc Province will become an industrial locality with the GRDP ranking among the nation’s top 15 provinces and cities. 

By 2050, the province will turn into a modern industrial locality with comprehensive and sustainable development. 

The planning principles must be closely associated with economic development and social advance and balance, gender equality, poverty reduction and improvement of local people’s cultural and spiritual lives, particularly ethnic minority and ones living in mountainous areas. 

The purpose of planning is to concretize the national master plan and the regional plan at the provincial level on the spatial arrangement of socio-economic and defense-security activities, the urban system and rural population distribution, infrastructure, land allocation, the use of resources and environmental protection, on the basis of connecting national planning, regional planning, urban planning and rural planning.

The planning contents should orientate spatial arrangement and allocation of resources for socio-economic, defense and security activities in accordance with the infrastructure development, use of natural resources and environmental protection in a balancing, harmonious, effective and sustainable manner. 

The plan must meet demands for environmental protection, natural resource management, biodiversity conservation, climate change adaption, defense and security. 

The planning contents must ensure coherence, synchronism and the effective use of the existing infrastructure systems between sectors and inter-district areas and localities in the province.
