During their talks on November 15, the two leaders expressed pleasure at the fine development of the bilateral ties, and showed determination to bring the Việt Nam-Cambodia friendly and all-round cooperation to a new height.

The two PMs agreed to create more favorable conditions and seek effective measures to forge the bilateral cooperation in such fields as trade, investment, banking, electricity, mining, oil and gas, cash crop cultivation, and transportation.

The two sides also agreed to encourage activities in trade, services and cooperation among localities, especially those along the Việt Nam-Cambodia borderline.

PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng and PM Hunsen reached consensus that Việt Nam and Cambodia will continue to closely link hands in security, defense, counter-terrorism, fighting against transnational crimes, drug smuggling and human trafficking.

They reiterated the principle of not allowing any hostile forces to use territories of one country to harm security of another and undermine the bilateral friendly and cooperative relations.

They also affirmed determination to speed up the border demarcation and landmark planting so that the work will be completed before late 2012.

PM Dũng proposed Cambodia continue to create favorable conditions for Vietnamese residents to work and live there.

After the talks, the two PMs witnessed the signing of the Payment Agreement between the State Bank of Việt Nam and the National Bank of Cambodia.
