Taking place on October 21 in Hà Nội, the Việt Nam-RoK Business Forum is the opening event to kick off the Program on Sharing Economic Development Experience between the two governments.

The similarities in geography, culture and tradition are a solid foundation for the two countries to build a strategic partnership for prosperity in the future, said President Lee Myung-bak.
The Korean President also noted that the RoK stands ready to share its development experience with Việt Nam.
For his part, Vietnamese Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân asserted that the Vietnamese business community always seeks close ties with Korean partners.
Over the past time, the two sides have recorded numerous achievements in such areas as trade, tourist, investment and labor exchange.

The Vietnamese leader suggested both sides foster linkages to raise the two-way trade turnover to US $20 billion in 2015. He also encouraged Korean enterprise to engage in infrastructure construction, telecommunication, labor, culture and education in Việt Nam.
The Government pledges to grant favorable conditions for Korean businesses here, stressed Mr. Nhân.
