Under Decision 09/2008/QĐ-BTC just promulgated by the Ministry of Finance, the entire money collected from equitizing or selling an enterprise must be used to assist employees in excess.

The ERSF will be used in case the enterprise spends its whole standby fund for unemployment pension to compensate redundant labor force.

The ERSF is also transferred to the State Capital Investment Corporation under the PM’s decision; added to the charter capital of economic groups, State-owned corporations, and parent companies as approved by the PM; and used to invest in important projects in line with the PM’s decision.
