CPI reaches record low
VGP – Viet Nam’s consumer price index (CPI) in June picked up 0.3% from the previous month, posting the lowest growth since 2006, according to the General Statistics Office (GSO).
Ten out of the 11 categories witnessed rising prices. Only post and telecom declined, by 0.13% in costs.
In the sixth month, prices of restaurants and catering services were up by 0.28%.
Pharmaceuticals and healthcare services saw the highest hike of 0.74%; followed by housing and building materials up 0.61%.
Gold price dropped by 0.12% while USD price went up 0.49%./.
