Cần Thơ promotes hi-tech agriculture
VGP - The southern City of Cần Thơ's People Committee recently unveiled that the City will spend VND 3,140 billion in its hi-tech agriculture program to 2010.

Cần Thơ City targets to develop hi-tech agricultural production by 2010 |
Three hi-tech agricultural parks will be built to receive and transfer techniques as well as attract investment.
The City also plans to implement 12 priority projects on developing urban agriculture, ecology, managing quality and standards of agro-products so as to provide high-quality agricultural products to the whole Mekong Delta.
In the near future, Cần Thơ will focus on the production of rice varieties and marine breeds. This is considered a breakthrough field. Thus, the City is actively upgrading breeding centers and founding training facilities for peasants.
