Can Tho to achieve commercial value of VND81,000 bln in 2015

VGP – The southern city of Can Tho strives to attract the investment capital of VND683 billion and US$50 million in 2015, raising the total commercial value of the year to VND81,000 billion.

Besides, the city aims to attract nearly 1.4 million tourists. To achieve these goals, the province will encourage domestic and foreign businesses to invest in key projects in terms of transport, energy, tourism, high-tech agriculture and agricultural processing.

The city will support export businesses in maintaining and expanding the export markets as well as organizing trade promotion activities and joining trade fairs in Russia, Germany, Australia and the United Arab Emirates to upgrade the city’s trade turnover to US$1.45-1.6 billion by 2015.

Can Tho City will cooperate with other southern provinces of An Giang, Kien Giang and Ca Mau to develop cultural, spiritual, sea and island tourism to receive more visitors.
