Cao Bằng and Bến Tre to benefit from IFAD funding

VNGOVNet – On November 20, on behalf of the Prime Minister, Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm agreed in principle with the two provinces of Cao Bằng and Bến Tre to take and use loans and technical assistance from the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD) in 2007.

Deputy PM Phạm Gia Khiêm assigned the People’s Committees of the two provinces to collaborate with the IFAD and relevant agencies in drawing up the project for approval in line with the existing regulations. The Ministry of Planning and Investment was assigned to transmit the PM’s opinion of this issue to the Fund and ask it to consider the aid for the provinces.
