Central tasks in February
VGP – The Government recently asked for effective implementation of the solutions written in its Resolution No. 02/NQ-CP dated on January 9, 2011, according to the resolution of Government's regular meeting in January.
The Government also asked ministries and localities to spur production and implementation of State-funded projects, particularly of those to surmounting power shortage.
Comprehensive measures for market control, anti-speculation, price control are required to stabilize the market and ensure people’s life.
The Ministry of Finance will be responsible for developing and putting forth solutions and roadmaps for the implementation of market-based price management mechanism, particularly for key input commodities like electricity, coal, petrol.
Meanwhile, the State Bank of Việt Nam will regulate the monetary policy flexibly and in accordance with the market rules and State management, and prepare roadmap for interest rate reduction through economic measures.
The Government called for quick popularization and implementation of the 11th National Party Congress’s Resolution from the central to grass-roots levels, and full information provision to mass media to create social consensus.
The Ministry of Information and Communications are in charge of popularizing the outcomes of the 11th National Party Congress as well as its documents, new stance, guidelines, directions of the Party.
