Citizens advised to get COVID-19 vaccines at authorized facilities
VGP – The Ministry of Health on Thursday recommended citizens should only receive COVID-19 jabs at authorized medical facilities.

The recommendation was made with an aim to prevent citizens from getting fake vaccines after some organizations and individuals said they have vaccines.
South African authorities have seized hundreds of fake COVID-19 vaccines following a global alert issued by INTERPOL warning vaccines would be a prime target for criminal networks.
At present, all COVID-19 vaccines in Viet Nam must be approved by the Ministry of Health. Each batch of imported vaccines shall have to undergo strict examination procedures and store in cold chain system before putting into use.
The ministry said it has actively engaged in talks with manufacturers and international organizations in order to buy a large volume of vaccines for all people living in Viet Nam, emphasizing that vaccination is total free.
