Conditions for cooperation with Indonesian enterprises in fishing
VNGOP – The Ministry of Planning and Investment gives instructions in conditions and procedures for Việt Nam's enterprises to work with Indonesian partners within Indonesia's fishing grounds.
Question (Mr. Nguyễn Hữu Bình, No 4 Trương Văn Bang St., Ward 7, Vũng Tàu City): What are conditions and procedures for a Vietnamese enterprise to cooperate with Indonesian partners in exploiting aquaproducts in Indonesia’s fishing grounds?
Answer (Ministry of Planning and Investment): The joint exploitation of marine products, within Indonesia’s fishing grounds, between Việt Nam’s investors or enterprises and Indonesian counterparts is stipulated in the Government’s Decree 78/2006/NĐ-CP dated on August 9, 2006 on direct investment abroad.
Accordingly, to do investment overseas, the investors must meet the requirements regulated in Article 4 of the Decree and fulfill investment procedures at the Ministry of Planning and Investment in line with Chapter 2 of the Decree.
