Condolences sent to Raul Castro Ruz

VNGOP– Vietnamese leaders on June 21 extended their condolences to Raul Castro Ruz, Second Secretary of the Communist Party of Cuba (CPC) Central Committee and First Vice President of the Council of State and the Council of Ministers, over the death of his wife, Vilma Espin Guillois.

Vilma Espin Guillois, who was a Cuban Hero, member of the CPC CC, member of the State Council, parliamentarian and President of the Cuban Women Union, died on June 18.

The Vietnamese leaders to write the condolences included Secretary General of the Communist Party of Viet Nam Central Committee Nông Đức Mạnh, State President Nguyễn Minh Triết and Prime Minister Nguyễn Tấn Dũng.

On the same day a delegation from the Vietnamese Party and State headed by State Vice President Trương Mỹ Hoa paid tribute to Vilma Espin Guillois at the Cuban Embassy in Ha Noi.
