Czech PM to visits VN in late March
VNGOP – At the invitation of PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng, PM of the Czech Republic Mirek Topolanek will pay an official visit to Việt Nam on March 20-23.
Over the past time, the relationship between Việt Nam and Czech has been strongly developing, especially in trade. In 2007, the trade turnover reached nearly US $200 million, increasing 21% against 2006. Việt Nam mainly exports agro-products, food, garments and textiles, and medicines to Czech. Czech investors have poured US $35 million into projects on producing crystal, beer, electric equipment, kaolin, building materials. The potential investment fields are energy, transport and engineering.
