VGP - A high-level Vietnamese delegation headed by Deputy Prime Minister Vũ Văn Ninh has taken part in an executive leadership program at Harvard University in the US.
The Việt Nam Executive Leadership Program (VELP) was held from February 13-17 as an annual exchange program organized by Harvard under the sponsorship of the United Nations Development Program (UNDP).
This year’s program focused on the global economy, restructuring of global finance, planning for macro-economic policies, and climate change – challenges and opportunities for Việt Nam.
The Vietnamese officials exchanged views with leading US experts on these themes.
During the program, the Vietnamese delegation visited the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and met with Overseas Vietnamese, including students in Boston .
Talking to the students, Deputy Prime Minister Ninh said that Việt Nam needs high-quality human resources, especially those who have studied and worked abroad and affirmed that they will get worthy positions when they return the country.
While in the US , the Vietnamese delegation visited Omni Parker House, where President Hồ Chí Minh worked between 1911-1913./.
