DPM asks for speedier preparations for WEF ASEAN
VGP – Deputy PM Pham Binh Minh has directed relevant ministries, agencies and localities to urgently complete organizational works related to the World Economic Forum on ASEAN (WEF ASEAN).

The Deputy PM has requested the organizing board of the meeting and ministries, agencies and localities to uphold their responsibilities to complete assigned tasks.
He required careful preparations for the speeches and discussions of the PM and other Government leaders and ministers at the WEF ASEAN to strongly convey the message of Viet Nam as a dynamic and open country, with active and extensive international integration and participation in the fourth industrial revolution as well as manifest the imprints and contributions of Viet Nam to issues of regional concerns.
The Ministry of Science and Technology and the Viet Nam Chamber of Commerce and Industry are tasked to closely coordinate with the organizing board and the WEF to organize events on the sidelines of the WEF ASEAN.
Ha Noi, Ho Chi Minh City, Da Nang City and Quang Ninh Province actively join hands with the organizing board to exchange and meet with the world’s top corporations to boost cooperation in trade, investment, technology and tourism.
