DPM attends VN-China ties celebrative banquet

VGP – Permanent Deputy PM Truong Hoa Binh attended a banquet to mark the 70th anniversary of the Viet Nam-China diplomatic ties (January 18, 1950-January 18, 2020) on January 15 in Ha Noi.

Addressing the ceremony, Deputy PM Binh affirmed that the Viet Nam-China relations which were nurtured by late President Ho Chi Minh and late President Mao Zedong and generations of leaders of both countries, has become a valuable asset of the two countries. 

Mr. Binh highly valued the outcomes of the bilateral relations over the past 70 years. 

He highlighted that the Vietnamese Party, State and people always treasure the comprehensive strategic cooperative partnership with their Chinese counterparts, hoping the Chinese sides will work to develop the ties into a stable, healthy and sustainable fashion.

The Deputy PM was convinced that with the determination of high-level leaders, ministries, departments, sectors and people of both countries, the partnership will be continuously consolidated and elevated to a new height across the fields of economy, trade, investment and tourism for regional and global peace, cooperation and development.   

In reply, Ambassador Xiong Bo hoped that Viet Nam and China will continue to promote their traditional friendship, enhance political trust, and further the bilateral relationship into a deeper and more practical manner, making more contributions to global peace, stability and human progress. 

Earlier, the Vietnamese Embassy in China also hosted a banquet to mark the 70th founding anniversary of Viet Nam – China diplomatic ties on January 13./.
