DPM meets sponsors for WEF ASEAN 2018

Participants at the meeting included Vice Chairman of the Government Office Nguyen Xuan Thanh, representatives of the organization board of the WEF ASEAN and eight large groups of Viet Nam - Posts and Telecommunications Group, Vingroup, T&T Group, A Chau Limited Liability Automobile Company, Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Viet Nam –Vietcombank, VinaCapital and FLC Group. 

On behalf of the Vietnamese Government, Deputy PM Minh highly spoke of the contributions of Vietnamese businesses to the organization of the WEF ASEAN 2018- the most crucial multi-lateral diplomatic event of the year. 

The event will attract the participation of foreign leaders and representatives from international organizations and 923 leading corporations around the world (higher than the forecasted number of 800 and doubling the number of other WEF’s regional meetings over the recent years). 

Mr. Minh supposed that the WEF ASEAN creates an opportunity for Vietnamese businesses to connect and share initiatives with the world’s leading corporations and businesses. 

The occasion, the Viet Nam Business Summit will be held at the National Convention Center on September 13 under the theme “Viet Nam: Trusted Partner – Innovative Connection”, which is expected to attract more than 1,000 delegates from foreign and domestic corporations.
