DPM welcomes Japanese scholars

VGP – Deputy Prime Minister Nguyễn Xuân Phúc on February 29 received a Japanese scholar delegation led by Dean of the Graduate School of Public Policy from the University of Tokyo Professor Akira Morita, who is in Việt Nam for a working visit.

The Deputy PM welcomed the cooperation in human resource training between the National Academy of Public Administration of Việt Nam and Japanese universities, saying it has helped generate a high-quality contingent of human resources in service of the making of national development policies.

He described that cooperation as a vivid symbol of the Việt Nam-Japan strategic partnership and comprehensive cooperation.

Professor Akira Morita expressed his impression of the determination and goodwill of the Vietnamese Government and relevant agencies to the training project.

On behalf of the Japanese delegation, Professor Akira Morita, who is also the President of the Japanese Society for Public Administration, said they hope to share experience with Vietnamese agencies and foster cooperation through specific programs./.
