Da Nang officially sets up Tien Son field hospital
VGP – Da Nang City’s People’s Committee on August 22 has decided to establish 500-bed Tien Son field hospital inside a sport center in Da Nang City-the country’s largest coronavirus hotspot.

The hospital is equipped with modern facilities including a smart data processing system.
200 medical workers have been dispatched to the hospital and 200 volunteer students have been trained to provide reception, patient care, and on-the-spot testing.
As of early August 22, Viet Nam confirmed 1009 COVID-19 infection cases, 527 of whom are linked to Da Nang City.
547 COVID-19 patients were declared clear of the virus and recovered their health, accounting for 54.2%.
The nation has recorded 25 deaths of COVID-19 so far.
