Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm feasts diplomatic corps in Hanoi

VNGOVNet – On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm entertained the Diplomatic Corps in Hanoi on February 12.

This is an annual feast by the Government and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to express Vietnam’s appreciation to foreign governments and peoples, as well as international organizations for their support and collaboration with Vietnam during the past year.

In his speech, Deputy PM, Foreign Minister Phạm Gia Khiêm stated that Vietnam will spare no effort in accelerating her comprehensive renovation for the rapid yet sustainable socio-economic development in 2007. As a responsible member of the international community, Vietnam continues to follow consistently an self-reliant diplomatic policy for peace, cooperation and development. The Deputy PM emphasized that Vietnam will fulfill its commitments on international integration and cooperation. He expressed his wish that the international community will give equal cooperation and support to Vietnam’s renovation and development.
