(Vietnam Government Website) – On 7 November, the Government Office issued an official document to impart the Standing Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Sinh Hung’s opinions, on behalf of the Prime Minister, about designing a draft decision to approve a project on collaborative mechanism for trans-border HIV/AIDS control.

November 08, 2006 10:28 AM GMT+7

The Deputy Prime Minister asked the Ministry of Health, in coordination with relevant agencies, to work with counterparts in the three neighbouring countries of China, Laos, and Cambodia on designing a draft decision to approve a project on cooperative mechanism for control of trans-border HIV/AIDS, which should be submitted to the Prime Minister in February 2007.

Deputy PM Hung assigned the MoH to consider, approve and direct the implementation of the National Action Plan to Provide Care, Assistance and Treatment for HIV/AIDS Carriers. The MoH was also required to make regular reports every six months and annually to the Prime Minister.
