VGP - The Netherlands Council for Trade Promotion (NCH) has recently held a meeting between Dutch companies and representatives from the Vietnamese Embassy, enterprises and people that live and work in the Netherlands to exchange information about Việt Nam’s trade and investment policies and situations, and seek cooperative opportunities.

STC has trained many shipbuilding workers for Việt Nam
Addressing the meeting, Chairman of the Netherlands-Việt Nam Chamber of Commerce, Mr. Van Gulick, stressed that Việt Nam is an emerging economy which more and more European companies in general and Dutch firms in particular are interested in.

He proved the statement by saying that the chamber’s members have doubled over the past 3 years.

STC President Erik Hietbrink said his group’s operation in Việt Nam since 1993 has been expanding, especially in helping to train hundreds of qualified shipbuilding technicians and workers in the country.

At the meeting, Vietnamese Ambassador to the Netherlands Hà Huy Thông said the Vietnamese economy has overcome difficulties and there are more opportunities for Dutch companies in 2010.
