The EOGC has registered capital of VND 7.6 trillion and will be active in electricity production and services, investment in electricity projects, imports and exports of energy and materials. Its strategic goal is to eventually churn out about 30-40 percent of the country’s total electrical output by 2015.

As a landmark in the development of the EOGC, PetroVietnam and EVN signed an agreement on comprehensive cooperation.
