Exhibition on Viet Nam War in New York

VGP – The exhibition on “The Viet Nam War: 1945-1975” was officially open on October 10 in the New-York Historical Society Museum in New York City, the U.S.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Permanent Head of the Viet Nam Mission to the UN Ambassador Nguyen Phuong Nga expected that the event will help attendants know the history and value of peace, making contrition to enhancing mutual knowledge between the two sides’ people. 

After 40 years of the war, Viet Nam and the U.S. have set up Comprehensive Partnership, she asserted, adding that the active development is mainly attributed to continuous efforts to leave the past behind, overcome divergence and head to the future. 

More than 300 souvenirs and pieces of evidence are being displayed at the exhibition, which will last till April 22, 2018.
