Finland-funded portfolio approved for Điện Biên and Gia Lai
VNGOP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng on July 02 approved the portfolio of the two projects on drainage and sewage treatment in Điện Biên Phủ City (Điện Biên Province) and Pleiku City (Gia Lai Province) granted with preferential ODAs from the Finnish Government as stipulated in Document 4154/BKH-KTĐN on June 14, 2007 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment.

These projects are funded with Finnish ODA capital through State budget. The corresponding capital is allocated from the local budget by the investor.
The PM entrusted the People's Committees of Điện Biên and Gia Lai Provinces to take into account recommendations from relevant agencies, complete all approval and investment procedures under current stipulations and be responsible for ODA use on purpose.
The Ministry of Planning and Investment was ordered to discuss with the Finnish Embassy about preparations for the realization of these projects.
