With the certificate, the company expects
to pull up the value of its fish products to over 15% while using the
opportunity for its deep penetration into new choosy markets.
Mr. Nguyễn Tuấn Anh, General Director of NTACO, said the
company’s qualified pangasius products will easily pass over the technical
barriers to enter Japanese, US and
European markets. This year, NTACO will finalize all its necessary procedures to
acquire new Global GAP certificates for its food processing plant and its fish-breeding
producing farm.
The company made a total export turnover of US $3.7 million
in the first quarter of this year, up nearly 70% against the same period last
year. Its pangasius products are available in over 40 countries.
