In his last working day in
the UK, Vietnamese Deputy PM
Hoàng Trung Hải on Wednesday attended the Business Forum of Việt Nam and the Northwest, the industrial and
financial region of the UK.
Deputy PM Hải emphasized
that the forum, held in Manchester,
is a good chance for enterprises of the two countries to promote investment in
various fields.

At the forum, Việt Nam introduced a list of FDI projects which are
very suitable to enterprises and investors in the Northwest of the UK, mainly in
transport infrastructure, aviation, steel, energy and tourism.
Many host businesses showed
their deep interest and readiness to shake hands with Vietnamese partners and
proposing some ideas relating to business environment and policies in Việt Nam.

Also on Wednesday, Deputy
PM Hải had a meeting with British FM David Miliband.
Deputy PM Hải took the occasion
to ask Mr. David Miliband to support Vietnamese residents in the UK.
