Foreign leaders congratulate Vietnamese counterparts on National Day

VGP - Leaders of Malaysia, Switzerland, Kazakhstan and Azerbaijan have extended congratulations to Vietnamese counterparts on the occasion of the 74th anniversary of the National Day of Viet Nam (September 2, 1945).

Malaysian King Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah Al Musta’in Billah cabled a congratulatory letter to Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

In the letter, the King asserted that the Viet Nam-Malaysia Strategic Partnership has been advancing well and will be further strengthened in the coming time.

He expressed his belief that Viet Nam will successfully fulfill its roles as ASEAN Chair in 2020 and a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council for the 2020-2021 tenure.

Swiss President Ueli Maurer and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev also telegraphed his greetings to Party General Secretary, State President Nguyen Phu Trong.

Azerbaijani PM Novruz Mammadov sent a message of congratulations to his Vietnamese counterpart Nguyen Xuan Phuc.

The occasion, Malaysian FM Saifuddin Abdullah and Swiss FM Ignazio Cassis also extended their congratulations to Deputy PM, FM Pham Binh Minh.
