General Secretary congratulates reelected Chinese Party leader
VNGOP – General Secretary of the Communist Party of Việt Nam Central Committee Nông Đức Mạnh on October 22 sent his congratulations to Mr. Hu Jintao who was just reelected as the General Secretary of the Communist Party of China (CPC).
In his message of greetings, General Secretary Nông Đức Mạnh highlighted the 17th CPC Congress as an important political event of the Party, State and people of China. He expressed his confidence that, under the leadership of the CPC headed by General Secretary Hu Jintao, the Chinese people would gain greater achievements in developing China to a new stage, creating a harmonious society and successfully implementing the objective of building socialism with Chinese identities.
General Secretary Mạnh was convinced that Mr. Hu Jintao, on his position as the General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, would make more contributions to bring the traditional friendship and cooperation, as well as the mutual understandings and trust between the two Parties, States and people of the two countries to a new height.
