Gov’t chief greets Saitama Prefecture Governor

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc hoped that Japan would continue taking the lead in investment and trade cooperation with Viet Nam.

PM Phuc made the point while receiving Saitama Prefecture Governor Motohiro Ono on November 11 in Ha Noi. 

The host leader stressed that the Viet Nam-Japan relations have entered the best period of time in which political relations have been consolidated and local cooperation has played an important part. Japan remains an important and leading economic partner of Viet Nam.  

Saitama Prefecture is one of the big and important localities in Japan having good ties with Viet Nam. 

PM Phuc believed that the Governor would make positive contributions to nurture the cooperation between Saitama Prefecture and Vietnamese localities. 

He also hoped that Japan would become the biggest FDI provider and trade partner of Viet Nam in which Saitama Prefecture would take the lead.

In reply, Governor Motohiro Ono expressed an aspiration that the two sides would boost cooperation towards prosperous and sustainable future.

According to the guest leader, Japan has high demand for laborers while Vietnamese laborers are skillful. Hence, Japan in general and Saitama Prefecture hope to cooperate with Viet Nam in the field. 

Mr. Motohiro Ono said that Saitama Prefecture always creates favorable ways for Vietnamese people to live and do business in the locality./.
