Gov’t chief receives ambassadors, heads of representative agencies working overseas

VGP – PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc proposed Vietnamese ambassadors, heads of representative agencies working overseas fruitfully conduct economic diplomatic activities; trade and investment promotion; boost business linkages.

Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs To Quoc Dung said that the diplomats have made careful preparations and contacted with foreign ministries, agencies, and localities before taking missions. 

They also promised to spare no effort to fulfill their assigned tasks. 

PM Phuc hoped that the diplomats would show a high sense of responsibility for protecting the interest of Vietnamese citizens and promoting cooperation between Viet Nam and foreign countries.

According to the Government chief, Viet Nam’s two-way trade turnover is projected at about US$ 500 billion. Hence, he hoped that the diplomat would contribute to the goal; fruitfully conduct economic diplomatic activities; trade and investment promotion; boost business linkages.  

Especially, diplomats were urged to promptly grasp situation in foreign countries and offer external policy consultations to the Party and State./.
