Regarding the Land Bill, Vietnam has gained positive achievements after ten-year implementation but shortcomings still remain, particularly in the fields of State management, promulgation of legal documents for the settlement of land disputes and land use efficiency.
The revised law with 15 chapters and 190 articles clearly stipulates rights and responsibilities of the State over land, land planning and use, land revocation, compensation and resettlement assistance, land registration and others.
Like the Land Law, the National Defense-Security Education Law (revised) has taken effect for ten years. The bill consists of six chapters and 43 articles on national defense and security education at schools and knowledge dissemination among others.
With four chapters and 33 articles, the Capital Bill specifies policies for the construction, development, management of the capital.
The revision of the Science and Technology Law with eight chapters and 75 articles reflects Vietnam’s stance on the role of science and technology for fast and sustainable development.
For the Law on Corruption Prevention and Fight, the Cabinet members unanimously agreed to supplement more provisions on transparency and explanation duties.
The Cabinet members also discussed on other bills on birth-marriage-death, employment, and grassroots reconciliation .
