The PM made affirmed the Government’s determination on May 16 while meeting with voters in Hai Phong City to prepare for the upcoming third session of the 13th National Assembly.

Representatives of Thuy Nguyen District’s voters proposed enhancing supervision of the implementation of the Party’s guideline and State’s policies at grassroots levels, especially those on environmental protection, social welfare insurance and infrastructure development.

They also suggested the State continue formulating appropriate land polices to settle shortcomings of the current legislation on land revocation and site clearance.

The city’s voters also recommended the Government accelerate projects on infrastructure development, building of new rural areas, aquaculture, education, clean water supply and healthcare.

Acknowledging the voters’ opinions, PM Dung stressed that the State always gives a priority to social welfare, poverty reduction and development of healthcare and education.

The Government will allocate more resources to realize the voters’ suggestions on building of new rural areas and assistance to fishermen for socio-economic development.

Regarding land issue, PM Dung said that the State will amend and supplement policies relevant to land revocation, site clearance, resettlement, and compensation.

The Government chief hoped that Hai Phong would make full use of potentials and advantages to surmount difficulties and fulfill the preset targets./.
