Gov’t grants VND 10 billion to reinforce press activities
VGP – Deputy PM Nguyễn Thiện Nhân has agreed today to extract VND 10 billion from the State budget 2010 to support high-quality press activities from central to local levels this year.

PM also stressed on the Government’s necessary support to these
activities in the 2011-2015 period.

He assigned the Vietnamese Journalists’
Association to continue work with related agencies in evaluating the current
implementation of the Government’s project on financing journalism activities
and works of art and literature.
Previously, the PM had signed Decision 926/QĐ -TTg touching
upon the project. In the period of 2006-2010, the project received the total
value of VND 210 billion.
