Gov’t to present 12 bills to NA standing body

VGP – PM Nguyễn Tấn Dũng has just assigned ministries to prepare 12 bills, reports, statements and draft resolutions which will be presented at the 30th and 31st sitting sessions of the National Assembly Standing Committee (NASC) slated for April 12-20 and May 5-12 respectively.

At the 30th NASC meeting, the Minister of Finance will present the report on allocating State budget surplus in 2009 and the draft resolution on natural resources tariff.

The Minister of Justice prepares and introduces the Government’s statement and a draft resolution on the law-making program 2011.

The Labor Code (amended), the Bill on Food Safety, and the Bill on Consumer Protection will be submitted to the NASC by the Minister of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs, the Minister of Health, and the Minister of Industry and Trade.

The Minister of Education and Training is assigned by the PM to present the report on the enforcement of laws and policies on establishing tertiary education facilities and securing their quality.

During the 31st meeting, the Minister of Planning and Investment will make an additional report on the implementation of socio-economic tasks in 2009 and early 2010.

The Minister of Finance will introduce some reports on the State budget in 2008, 2009, and early 2010.

The Minister of Construction will present the Government’s report on the master plan for Hà Nội’s construction to 2030 and visions to 2050.

The Bill on Seas of Việt Nam is also introduced at the 31st NASC sitting session by the Minister of Foreign Affairs.
