Gov’t turns greenlight for MoU on education with Malaysia

VGP – PM Nguyen Tan Dung has approved the draft contents of the Memoradum of Understanding on tertiary education cooperation between the Governments of Viet Nam and Malaysia.

July 30, 2013 3:59 PM GMT+7

The Ministry of Education and Training is assigned to ink the aforesaid MoU.

Viet Nam and Malaysia officially set up diplomatic ties on March 30, 1973.

In recent years, the bilateral relations have been flourishing in various fields like politics, economics, trade, investment, national defense and security and labor.

Despite global and regional economic hardships, the two-way trade value has increased annually, surging from US$5.5 billion in 2010 to US$6.75 billion in 2011 and US$7.9 bilion in 2012.

With 432 projects totalling over US$11 billion, Malaysia is the 7th biggest foreign investor in Viet Nam./.
