The event, with the participation of five other nations in the region, is expected to attract more foreign investors to Viet Nam, said Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoang Anh Tuan.

He added that the event has formed international connection and cooperation in tourism between localities nationwide and between foreign and domestic businesses.

A total number of 300 stalls of 30 localities and five other countries including Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, Myanmar and the Philippines will be presented at the event, which will attract 25,000 visitors.

Eight conferences will also be held at the Expo to create connections between nations in the region, localities and enterprises.
