HN, Fukuoka forge links in investment, trade, tourism

VGP - Vice Chairman of the Ha Noi People’s Committee Le Hong Son called on businesses from Japan’s Fukuoka prefecture to penetrate into the local market so as to fully exploit each side’s advantages while visiting Fukuoka on August 26.

Speaking at a conference, with the participationt of 65 Japanese and Vietnamese enterprises, Mr. Son pledged the best possible conditions for the two localities’ businesses to cooperate in investment, trade and tourism.
 
The capital city wants to attract foreign investments towards state-of-the-art technologies and technological transfer for sustainable development.

Ha Noi is striving to boost two-way trade with Fukuoka  and working out strategies for attracting more tourists from the Japanese prefecture, he said.

The capital city's four businesses  also introduced their advantages and cooperation plans with partners from Fukuoka.

The Japanese businesses were briefed on changes in Viet Nam’s 2014 Investment and Business Laws as well as the city’s investment environment, orientations and policies and both sides signed a memorandum of understanding. 
 
After the question and answer session, the both sides signed a memorandum of understanding.
