According to the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (MARD), AgroViet is an important platform for food and agricultural companies to showcase their new products, modern technology, and exchange experience.
The fair honors made-in-Việt Nam agro-forestry and fishery products which are environmentally friendly, have good quality and meet hygienic standards.
The fair consists of 400 stalls of which 30% is reserved for international partners to display their products.
A symposium will also be held as part of the event to enable Vietnamese businesses to seek international partners .
Last year, AgroViet 2010 drew the participation of 10,000 visitors with a large number of business contracts signed./.
