The company has grown some trees in the Nghĩa Đô Park and Thụy Khuê Street. Following encouraging results, the company will grow the plant in other parks and streets.

Some overseas Vietnamese in Japan and Hồ Chí Minh City have proposed the Committee plant cherry blossoms in the capital city in a move to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Thăng Long-Hà Nội in 2010.

The planting of ‘sakura’ is considered an activity to strengthen the friendly and cooperative ties between Việt Nam and Japan.
