Health ministry confirms 118 new COVID-19 cases

VGP – The Ministry of Health confirmed 118 community infection cases of COVID-19 on Tuesday noon, raising the national caseload to 10,999.

The new patients are residents in Bac Giang (69), Ho Chi Minh City (29), bac Ninh (15), Ha Tinh (three), Lang Son (one), and Ha Noi (one).

Viet Nam has experienced four COVID-19 waves. The latest wave broke out on April 27 with 7,786 domestic cases recorded in 40 cities and provinces.

Among the aforesaid localities, 23 have gone 14 days without a single case, namely Yen Bai, Quang Ngai, Dong Nai, Quang Ninh, Quang Nam, Quang Tri, Thua Thien-Hue, Nam Dinh, Hoa Binh, Tuyen Quang, Son La, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Thai Nguyen, Hung Yen, Hai Phong, Tay Ninh, Gia Lai, Bac Lieu, Dien Bien, Dak Lak, Dong Thap, and Tra Vinh./.
