This year’s Carnival is the biggest Carnival and the highlight of the Ha Long Tourism Week scheduled to last until May 2.

Over the past five years, Carnival Ha Long has been favored by both local and international tourists, becoming a speciality of Quang Ninh’s tourism sector.

Themed “Quang Ninh – Convergence and Diffusion”, the event drew the participation of more than 3,800 people, including professional artists and amateur artists, ethnic people, and representatives from nearby regions.

The Carnival Ha Long 2012 is featured with national cultural identities which were culturalized and honored by representatives of ethnic groups. It is the great combination between traditional and modern, between the unique culture of Quang Ninh people and the diversity of the international art troupes to create colorful Carnival.

This Carnival also shows the integration and development of Quang Ninh province in the coming time.”
