Hoi An attracts int’l tourists during Tet

VP – During the Lunar New Year of Snake, the ancient town of Hoi An has organized many cultural activities to attract tourists.

This Lunar New Year festival, Hoi An became more boisterous when thousands of tourists come here every day.

According to the Hoi An City Culture Center, during the traditional festival, the city welcomes around 3,000 international tourist each day.

The city organized many festivals and 17 cultural events for tourists.  The local government also plans to diversify tourist services and products in order to stimulate tourism and convert the city into an attractive destination.

In  2013, Hội An will host many tourist activities, such as the 5th Quang Nam Heritage Itinerary, the Central Highlands Culinary Festival; and the roadshow to introduce Quang Nam’s tourism potential.
