Hue city to host 17th ICT seminar
VGP – The 17th ICT development seminar will take place in the central city of Hue from August 30-31.
The event, themed “Building synchronous ICT infrastructure for socio-economic development”, aims to promote inter-locality linkages in ICT application and development, according to Director of Thua Thien-Hue province’s Department of Information and Communications Le Sy Minh.
The seminar will also offer a platform for delegates to present ideas, share their experience, create cooperative opportunities and accelerate the administrative reform in favor of citizens and businesses.
Topics like future directions for ICT infrastructure, applying IT advances at a national level, establishing e-government services, and using ICT in education, healthcare, and banking will be high on the agenda.
The seminar also encompasses a science and technology product exhibition, an equipment presentation to disadvantaged Thua Thien-Hue tertiary students, and tours of model provincial management and production agencies capitalizing on IT’s potential, according to the Voice of Viet Nam./.
